VAN MORRISON DUETS WITH JOHN LEE HOOKER ON THE HEALING GAME (DELUXE EDITION)

Available on March 22 from Legacy Recordings, The Healing Game (Deluxe Edition) contains
3CD’s featuring the original album and original single B-sides along with two bonus discs of rare
and unreleased material, including two duets with John Lee Hooker, studio outtakes, duets with
Carl Perkins, and Van’s set at the Montreux Jazz Festival. 24 of these tracks have never been
released. The Hooker/Morrison duets first appeared on John Lee’s 1997 album Don’t Look
Back, which was produced by Van Morrison. Don’t Look Back would take home a Grammy for
Best Traditional Blues Album, while the title track would win the Grammy for Best Pop
Collaboration With Vocals. The two singers had guested on each-others albums many times
and would become personal friends over the years.
